This early design sketch shows that the prize for winning the Puzzle Contest (at the beginning of Inherit the Earth: Quest for the Orb) was originally a trophy and not a medallion. I don’t know why this was changed — maybe it was decided that a medallion made for a better trade for cash by the moneychanger then a trophy.
