One of the distinguishing features of the Rat Tribe in Inherit the Earth: Quest for the Orb is their style of dress: Rats mostly wear simple robes. That may not have always been the plan.

Here is an early illustration of a group of Rats showing them wearing clothing more in the style of the Elks, although there is still one Rat in a robe (but of a more sophisticated design). Also, they appear to have an Orb.

I am fairly sure the Rats do not have an Orb...
