This is a rare color concept sketch of a precursor to the Dog Castle.

Also included here is a black-and-white version of the same picture which more clearly shows that the castle was originally envisioned to guard a pass over a deep gorge.

The color version was first posted here in April 2006. We didn't know there was black-and-white version until September 2006, because the drawing was on the back of another drawing!
